1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ContinueChat browser extension and this website (together, "ContinueChat"), provided by CoyLin Studio ("we", "us"). By installing or using ContinueChat you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. What ContinueChat does

ContinueChat is a Chrome extension that organizes your conversations on chatgpt.com and claude.ai and helps you continue a conversation on the other site by preparing its context and filling it into the message box. It never sends a message on your behalf.

ContinueChat is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI or Anthropic. ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI; Claude is a trademark of Anthropic. Those sites are operated by third parties and may change at any time, which can temporarily break features of ContinueChat. We will make reasonable efforts to keep ContinueChat working, but we can't guarantee compatibility.

3. Your use

You may use ContinueChat for personal or business purposes, provided that you:

• follow the terms of the services you use it with, including those of OpenAI and Anthropic;
• are responsible for the content you continue, export or share;
• do not resell, share publicly, or attempt to bypass license keys or plan limits;
• do not use ContinueChat for anything unlawful or to harm others.

4. Plans

Free includes 3 continues per month, up to 5 folders, pins, local search, single-chat export and JSON backup. Pro Monthly ($4.99 per month) and Pro Lifetime ($39, one-time) add unlimited continues, unlimited folders and bulk Markdown/PDF export. Plan details are listed on our pricing section; we may improve or adjust features over time.

A Pro purchase gives you a license key for personal use by the purchaser. Pro Lifetime gives you Pro features, including future updates, for as long as we offer ContinueChat.

5. Payments

Orders are processed by Creem, which acts as our merchant of record and reseller. Creem handles payment, taxes and receipts, and its Buyer Terms apply to the transaction. Prices are shown in US dollars; applicable sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout.

6. Subscriptions and cancellation

Pro Monthly renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime using the link in your Creem receipt email or by writing to support@coylin.com. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and does not renew. We will give you notice by email before any price change takes effect for your subscription.

7. Refunds

If ContinueChat Pro isn't right for you, email support@coylin.com within 14 days of your first purchase (Monthly or Lifetime) and we will arrange a full refund — no questions asked. Refunds are issued through Creem to your original payment method. After 14 days, payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where we, at our discretion, decide otherwise (for example, if a technical problem on our side prevented you from using Pro). Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law.

8. If your plan ends

If your subscription ends or a refund is issued, Pro features are locked again. Your local data is never deleted because of this; your chats, folders and pins remain in your browser.

9. Your data

ContinueChat stores your data locally in your browser, as described in our Privacy Policy. Because we don't hold a copy, we can't recover data you delete or lose; use Settings → Export backup to keep your own copy.

10. Disclaimer

ContinueChat is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not responsible for the content produced by third-party AI services.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of ContinueChat. Our total liability for any claim relating to ContinueChat is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Suspension

We may deactivate a license key that is shared publicly, obtained fraudulently, or subject to a chargeback. You can stop using ContinueChat at any time by uninstalling it.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will notify Pro customers by email. Continuing to use ContinueChat after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
